Our National Programs

Zetas Helping Other People Excel, commonly referred to as Z-HOPE™, serves as the National Service Program of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Z-HOPE™ is a comprehensive initiative that embodies interactivity, holistic approach, and multi-faceted outreach efforts. Its primary objective is to foster the growth, development, and empowerment of individuals, guiding them towards healthier and more fulfilling lifestyles throughout their lives. This initiative is tailored to cater to various demographic groups, including Women, Youth, Seniors, Men, and International Women of Color.

Our Elder Care program plays a crucial role in addressing the evolving needs of our aging population, who are living longer and extending their work lives. We have established a valuable partnership with the Family Caregiving Alliance, aimed at improving the overall quality of life for caregivers and professionals in the aging and disability sector.

Our ongoing objective is to further enhance this initiative by fostering awareness of healthy behaviors and improved outcomes, while also reducing risk factors that impact the social determinants of health through educational efforts. In addition to our collaboration with the Family Caregiving Alliance, we are actively engaged with local partners such as AARP, NCOA, Association of Aging, Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, and transportation companies. Together, we are committed to finding innovative ways to meet the diverse needs of our elderly community.

The Zetas Have Heart Initiative program was established with the intention of emphasizing the importance of self-care while caring for others. Originally designed as a 90-day wellness journey program centered around heart health, Zetas Have Heart has evolved with a broader mission. The primary objective of this initiative is to promote, treat, and effectively manage everyday self-care concerns through heightened health awareness. The Zetas aim to provide a platform for health awareness, emphasizing the pivotal role of self-care on the path to holistic well-being.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, has joined forces with the March of Dimes Foundation to elevate the number of women who receive timely and consistent prenatal care, with the overarching goal of preventing instances of low birthweight, premature births, and infant mortality. This collaboration represents a unique educational and service-oriented endeavor that can only be effectively executed by these two esteemed organizations.

As part of this Gamma Psi Zeta Chapeter initiative, participants from the community have the opportunity to enroll in our engaging and self-paced prenatal education course. In appreciation for their participation, clients are rewarded with incentives, such as maternity or baby care items, through a variety of health-enhancing activities. We are eager to contribute to our community's well-being through the implementation of this program.
